Cookie Policy
Effective May 17, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies CrazySound.ai uses, what they do, and the choices you have. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. What is a cookie
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. Cookies let a site remember preferences and authentication state between page loads. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and pixel tags. For simplicity, this policy uses “cookies” to mean all of them.
2. How we categorize cookies
- Strictly necessary.Required for the Service to function. Without these, you can't sign in, pay, or remember your locale.
- Functional. Improve the experience but the Service still works without them.
- Analytics. Help us understand how visitors use the Service in aggregate. We currently use no analytics cookies.
- Advertising. Used to deliver or measure ads. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not participate in cross-context behavioral advertising.
3. Cookies we currently use
3.1 First-party (set by crazysound.ai)
- cs_locale— Strictly necessary. Stores your chosen UI language so the site renders in that language on return visits. Lifetime: 1 year.
- cs_switch_dismissed— Functional. Records that you dismissed the “switch back to English” banner so we don't show it again. Lifetime: 6 months.
- localStorage: ads:draft:v1, phone-greetings:draft:v1, ads:projectId:v1, phone-greetings:projectId:v1— Functional. Saves your in-progress ad or phone-greeting draft so you can return to it after signing up. Lifetime: until you clear browser data or delete the draft. These are local-only and never transmitted to our servers except when you explicitly sync them on first sign-in.
3.2 Third-party (set by our subprocessors)
- Authentication cookies— Strictly necessary. Set by our identity-and-authentication subprocessor. Manage your sign-in session, CSRF protection, and device verification. Lifetime: session, plus persistent tokens up to 30 days.
- Payment session cookies— Strictly necessary. Set by our payment processor during checkout for fraud prevention and to attach your card transaction to the right session. Lifetime: session up to 1 year for the fraud-pattern identifier.
- Edge security cookies— Strictly necessary. Set by our content-delivery and bot-management provider to distinguish legitimate users from automated traffic. Lifetime: ~30 minutes per session.
Customers on a paid plan can request a current, named list of these subprocessors and their published cookie documentation by emailing privacy@crazysound.ai.
4. Your choices
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking strictly-necessary cookies will likely break the Service — you won't be able to sign in or check out.
Browser-level controls:
You can also send a Do Not Track signal from most browsers. We respect Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where required by law.
5. Changes
We will update this page when we add, remove, or change cookies. The “Effective” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
