12 Radio Ad Script Examples (30s & 60s)

Twelve real radio ad script templates across restaurants, real estate, auto dealers, dental, fitness, ecommerce, and more. Use them as-is or as starting points for your own.

10 min read · CrazySound editorial

The fastest way to learn how a radio ad script reads is to read a bunch of them. Below are twelve scriptsacross the industries that buy the most radio inventory — restaurants, real estate, automotive, healthcare, fitness, professional services, ecommerce, and more.

Each example shows the industry, format (30s or 60s), the creative angle, and the script body with voice direction in brackets. Use them as templates, edit them for your business, or paste them into our AI ad generator to produce a finished audio file with voiceover and music.

What makes a good radio ad script?

Before the examples, the structure that produces good radio scripts:

  • Hook in 3-5 seconds.Open with the listener's moment or pain. Skip the formal intro — nobody's waiting for it.
  • Brand name twice. Audio listeners are half-paying-attention by default. Repetition is how recall happens.
  • One specific differentiator. Not three. Pick the strongest claim and let it carry the ad.
  • Clear action in the last 5-7 seconds. Phone number repeated twice, or a vanity URL the listener can spell.
  • Voice direction in the script.“Warm,” “urgent,” “deadpan,” “conversational” — tells the voice talent (or the AI generator) how to read it.

Now the scripts. Read them out loud. Radio scripts sound different in your head than out of your mouth, and the only way to know if a script works is to perform it.

Want a custom script for your business?

These templates are useful starting points, but the highest-converting radio ads are tuned to your specific business, audience, and differentiator. Two paths:

  • Hire a copywriter. $200-$500 for a 30-second spot, 1-3 day turnaround. Best for high-stakes campaigns or unusual businesses.
  • Use an AI generator. CrazySound generates six different creative angles in 15 seconds, all formatted for 30 or 60-second broadcast timing, with voice direction included. Plans from $19 per ad.

Whichever path you pick, the structure above (hook → brand → claim → action) is what makes it work. Use the examples as scaffolding and the script will write itself.
